Also, confession time: That last panel was mostly generated via GrokAI/Imagine. If I had not resorted to this, this page would be a day late. I don’t intend to use Imagine for anything beyond scenes like this. Certainly not depicting the characters.
Using AI for art, beyond time-saving, is still a bit frustrating. It took several attempts to get a look anywhere close to satisfactory and I had to massage the image a fair bit using Clip Studio Paint’s filtering tools.
